This kit adapts Harley (39mm Mid Glide) 16″ Forty-Eight Wheels to
Options:
Mid Glide Front Ends: Forty-Eight or Custom(16″ Wheel) Trees and Narrow Width legs (2008-up made for 25mm Wheel Bearings)
Wide Glide Front Ends: Aftermarket 39mm Wide Glide Trees

Mid Glide Example: You Have 2008-up Sportster with 19″ or 21″ Front Wheel and you bought a 16″ Harley “48” or “Custom” Wheel AND Trees for a “48” or “Custom”.
This kit is needed because the legs are different on 16″ Wheel Bikes.
