      Transmission sprocket has improper offset for my 2008 Night Train, the offset should be increased by 5/16″ to make the chain run in the same place the belt used to, at the moment my chain is not running true to the sprockets, which I can’t live with. I checked the measurement against the stock transmission pully I removed to get the exact measurement required for correction. I bought 2 of these chain conversion kits since I have a spare back tire and rim for the bike, I figured the chain and sprockets will require replacement eventually. So, If I cannot get the transmission sprocket with the proper offset proper offset, I am out the price of 2 conversion kits and a belt which I cut while putting on the “2008 to 2017 Six Speed Softail Chain Conversion Kit”, I don’t see anything available on the Vulcan Website that might correct my issue, going to call them tomorrow, I live in Northern Alberta so returns to the US are a pain, so I’m good with just buying 2 new trany sprockets.

      Super high quality, great upgrade from belt drive. Recommend for any high horsepower build.

      My Softail went through three final drive belts in 62,000 miles. The main thing that bums me out about it is them snapping when there is no apparent wear on them and I don’t ride hard. The last one literally fell off the bike pulling off from a stop at an idle. With the chain kit I expect to be able to see when it is worn and replace it before it is too far gone.
